Everything on sale today is deleted on October 21
Every seller we track is trading Forever gold right now, and all of it sits on beta characters that do not survive the beta. This site lists gold for a living and is telling you not to buy this month.
Three weeks of a test character
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Does the character transfer to the live game? | No. The beta is a test realm. Nothing on it moves across |
| Does the gold transfer? | No. It is deleted with the character holding it |
| Is there any path from a beta character to a launch one? | None. Not paid, not manual, not on request |
| How long is left? | Until October 21, 2026 |
| What does that make the purchase? | A month of entertainment at cap 30, priced like an asset |
The one case where it is not silly
Testers who want to try a mount or a bag that level 30 would never pay for have a fair reason to spend: curiosity, priced like a cinema ticket. Budget it as a few evenings of entertainment and nothing more. Treating it as a head start on your launch character is the mistake, because that character and this one are unrelated.
Three things worth doing this month
- Hold until November 4. A coin delivered to a character that survives the beta is worth exactly what you paid for it. Everything before that date is rented.
- Watch the price rather than the promise. The board is read daily, so you can watch the spread between sellers close as real farmers arrive. Today's market →
- Mine the beta for information instead. How thick the ore nodes are, what a cooked meal is actually worth, which dungeon sits at which level. None of that is deleted along with the character carrying it.
Once the beta closes, this page turns from a warning into a receipt: what the market asked before anyone could play, and how close that turned out to be. Those readings are being archived rather than overwritten.
